What Is a Youth Group?
Youth Group is a place where young people can come together to enrich and support their
community. It is a community where members can depend on and support each other. It’s a safe
place free from judgement and persecution.
What Does Youth Group Do?
We help the church and our local community in any way we can. We organize events like
Easter, Halloween, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, etc. Go on team building trips like
Carowinds, fishing, Celebration Station, movies, dinner etc. The youth group has its very own
youth mass, where members do what the adults usually do like passing out bread and wine along
with collecting donations.

To read and agree with the youth group mission statement. Being 13 years old and/or being in the 8th grade.
How to Join
If you fulfill/meet the requirements, you are invited to come to our meetings or events and or
write your name on the sign-up sheet in front of Classroom 5. Please check the church calendar
under Parish Events to see when and where we are having our meeting.
